The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents Tilda's Promise, a Novel of Love, Loss and New Beginnings. Through the prism of her new novel, Tilda's Promise, Jean P. Moore will explore the subjects of love, loss and new beginnings.
After the unexpected death of her husband, Harold, after 40 years, Tilda must find her way back to a meaningful life, a task that will involve friends and family, particularly her granddaughter and namesake, Tilly.

Moore will read and discuss excerpts from her novel and engage her audience in discussion. Award-winning author, Jean P. Moore, is a novelist, poet, and non-fiction writer. Her novel, Water on the Moon, was published June 2014 and was the winner of the 2015 Independent Publishers Book Award for contemporary fiction. Her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others.
