The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents the Silver Wellness Series and Nutrition for Seniors. Join Thea Basis as she leads us in the next installment in this series. This is a drop-in session and no prior registration is necessary.
Thea will lead discussion about the importance of keeping a healthy muscle mass for metabolic health and to extend the ability to live independently. She will guide us through specific exercises for each major muscle group that focuses on improving cardio respiratory health, improving balance, and including movements that encompass virtually all activities of daily living. Various Silver Wellness Series programs are planned for every month.
