The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents "What Makes Jewish Humor....Humorous?"  Is there one sentence that can capture the essence of Jewish humor?  No.  How could one statement encompass jokes about Jewish mothers, rabbis, Israelis, and even anti-semites?

Join us as Rabbi Jon Haddon, the Spiritual Leader of Temple Shearith Israel of Ridgefield (CT) for 22 years (now called Shir Shalom), now Rabbi Emeritus, as he makes very apparent that Jewish humor reveals a great many truths about ourselves as Jews but no one great truth.

Hopefully, you will laugh, and maybe shed a tear too.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others.
