The Berkshire Museum has a history, but that history has positioned the museum for the future.  In these troubling times, many museums face the prospect of closing their doors forever.  Here in Pittsfeld, the Berkshire Museum is fortunate to be making unfrastructure improvements, keeping staff employed, working to adapt to the community's current needs, and planning to be part of the fabric of the Berkshires in the future, whatever it may hold.

Jeff Rodgers became the Executive Director in April 2019, bringing over 26 years of experience in science education and museum, program and executive managemennt.  He is deeply committed to education and believes that museums are an essential part of the learning landscape.
