The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents memoirist Jay Zeif as he shares his journey of writing "From Buddy to Bebop: Reflections of a Life."
While on a trip to Israel, a guide posed several questions to the group that he and his wife Beverly were traveling with. There was one question that inspired Jay to write his memoir. It was "Who knows the first names of their great-great grandparents?" Not a single person in the group was able to answer.
Jay's "sincere desire to be remembered is not for vanity" he says, but to understand where we are and where we are going, but first to know and understand where we have been. Come and share this journey and find out if you, too, feel inspired to write your memoir.
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch.
