Both of our rabbis love good books. It’s no surprise Jews are called the People of the Book. Join us each month over bagels and coffee to discuss some great reads. This June we will discuss one of Rabbi Hirsch’s favorite books, Walking a Literary Labyrinth: A Spirituality of Reading, by Nancy Malone. Malone is an Ursuline Nun who draws from diverse sources, both spiritual and secular. She invites readers to consider the influence of reading in our own lives, how and why particular books stay with us, how they shape us, and how they enlarge our humanity. Copies of the book can be purchased at a discount from the Bookloft in Great Barrington.
