Hevreh is thrilled to welcome rabbi, author, and activist Haviva Ner-David for an engaging afternoon of life-storytelling and learning. Rabbi Haviva, who is an author of fiction and memoir, also runs the only pluralist mikveh in Israel, where she officiates and creates mikveh ceremonies and facilitates workshops for visiting groups. Rabbi Haviva is an activist building a shared society among Arabs and Jews in the Galilee, work that inspired her debut novel, Hope Valley. She is also a spiritual companion, with a specialty in dreamwork, which she writes about in her memoir, Dreaming Against the Current: A Rabbi's Soul Journey. Come hear Rabbi Haviva speak about her work and life by way of her books, including a brand new novel To Die in Secret, which takes place in Salem, MA, and Yonah and the Mikveh Fish, a children's book about mikveh (the first of its kind). Books will be for sale at this event, and light refreshments will be served.
