The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community program welcomes State Representative Paul W. Mark for the 2nd Berkshire District of MA on "It's Complicated - An Eye Opening Visit".

Rep. Mark had the honor of joining a delegation of State Representatives and City Councilors from all over MA on an official visit to Israel in 2014.  The ten day intensive trip brought him to places he never thought he would get to visit and opened his eyes to a beautiful, yet fractured region of the world. He will share his experiences and explain how the trip changed how he thinks about that part of the world and relate what he saw in Israel to what he knows of how our region and MA, as a whole, was similarly developed.

Rep. Mark was previously employed as a telephone company lineman, holds a law degree from Suffolk University Law School and is licensed to practice in MA.  He holds a doctorate in Law and Public Policy from Northeastern University.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
