The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community program presents "Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body" with Meghan Lemay, regional manager of the Alzheimer's Association in western MA.
Meghan will provide information on the latest research around how nutrition, exercise, social engagement and cognitive activity can improve the aging process and reduce your risk of cognitive decline.
The Alzheimer's Association works to provide care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementia, as well as to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
