Want to learn more about your own Jewish roots? Whether you’ve just started investigating your family tree, or you’re encountering a “brick wall” in your research, come meet with our volunteer experts. Western Massachusetts Jewish Genealogical Society is sponsoring a workshop featuring 20-minute private consultations with experienced researchers. Plan your next steps or learn more about DNA testing and its interpretation. Or get help with translation (documents, gravestones, notes on photos, etc.), in a variety of languages--sessions up to 30 minutes. To register for a session, contact Nina Sitron: email@example.com or 413-268-2147. Deadline: Jan. 29. Cost: $10, or free for members of JCC or WMJGS. Walk-ins can look through our resource materials but are not guaranteed individual consultations. More info at www.wmjgs.org.
