The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents Rabbi Ivan Caine who will speak on Pesach.  In a talk that might make us all feel like the "Son Who Does Not Know How To Ask," Rabbi Caine will raise and answer some uncommon questions about the Passover holiday.  Join Rabbi Caine for an exploration of the holiday's history and cultural context.  Rabbi Caine graduated from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and, after US Army service as a chaplain, he and his wife lived for almost 4 years in Israel. where he worked and then studied at the Hebrew University.  In 1967, he became the first text faculty member of the reconstructionist Rabbinical College, where he was Director of Biblical Studies for 18 years.  Concurrently, he and his wife founded Society Hill Synagogue, an independent Conservative congregation, where they served for 33 years.  Cost $3.
