Join Laura Wetzler, singer, songwriter, guitarist, recording artist and lecturer in a multimedia presentation and see how art can be a force for resistance and hope in hard times.
Laura has devoted years of study and performance to diverse, multicultural World music, as well as to the history of American popular entertainment and European Art Music. She takes particular joy in sharing the fascinating and beautiful contributions of Jewish-American and African-American artists to our musical cultural heritage.
Following the program, we will continue the conversation with a home-cooked lunch around our community table. All are welcome! Advance lunch reservations are required and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the day before the program. Suggested donation of $3 for adults over age 60. $7 for all others.
