The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents "The Power of Feeling Heard: Positive Psychology & Conflict Transformation" with Rosa Zubizarreta, author of "From Conflict to Creative Collaboration; A User's Guide to Dynamic Facilitation." She will lead us in this empathy-based approach in dealing with friction in the workplace, in our families, or in our communities, to recognize how divergent perspectives can cause challenges and difficulties.
We will learn to acknowledge a shared larger goal and develop the opportunity to feel deeply heard. This will be an interactive presentation, including an opportunity for group listening practices.
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
