The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community series presents Tales of a Judaic Artist: Weavings, Wanderings and Wonders with Wendy Rabinowitz.
Rabinowitz, a nationally and internationally recognized artist will share her experiences in becoming a "ba'al teshuvah," returning to her Judaism through the gateway of creativity and art.
She will be exhibiting and discussing her one-of-a-kind weaving/mixed media assemblage artworks based on Jewish themes of peace, healing, the earth, Jewish women in the Torah, and the Jewish mystical tradition.
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
