The Berkshire Jewish Voice's interim editor, Albert Stern, will share his thoughts on how the Federation's newspaper can tell the story of our Jewish community, while also connecting us to relevant news, cultural happenings, social trends, and ideas from throughout the Jewish world. Stern will be asking participants to share their thoughts on making the BJV as relevant as possible to our Jewish community. A storyteller, whose work has appeared onstage and in national publications, Stern will also perform an adaptation of an essay that appeared in the Modern Love section of the New York Times, about his then 2-year-old son's unfortunate efforts to connect with the neighborhood's trophy playmate. Cost $3.
