The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents the various initiatives of the Berkshire Community Organizing for Action (Co-Act) in and around Pittsfield with Executive Director, Paul Deslauriers.  These grassroots initiatives are guided by collaboration and community needs.  The results are highly functional local systems that serve the common good.  The approach is applicable to any region and includes addressing the holistic needs  of a community, supporting sustainability, coordinating collaborative action,and tapping the power of community.
