The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will host Knosh & Knowledge: A historical documentray: The World Was Ours by Mira Jedwabnik Van Doren, producer and founder of The Vilna Project, Inc. will be shown and discussed. The World Was Ours is a one hour documentary that explores the vibrant and creative life of the Jewish community in Vilna (now Vilnuis, Lithuania) between the two World Wars. The World Was Ours evokes the spirit of the rich literacy, intellectual and artistic community that helped shape many of the great ideologies of 20th century Jewish life. By the end of the war, 95% of the city's Jewish population had been murdered. $11 includes program and seasonal farm fresh buffet lunch by Freund Farm Market and Bakery. Program only is $5.
