The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents Narrative Medicine with writer, educator, and Thanatologist, Deborah Golden Alecson. Narrative medicine is becoming popular with health care professionals to help them understand what their patients and clients experience. These stories and journeys about loss often, but not always, describe resiliency and growth. Deborah will also discuss writing as a process of healing which has been a central focus for her own work and self discovery.
Program is free. $2 suggested donation for Kosher Lunch following the program. Advanced lunch reservations are required and can be made up to 9am on the day of the program by calling 413-442-2200.
