The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents Eve Schatz, esq, founder and executive director of the Berkshire Center for Justice, Inc.  Find out about the role the Berkshire Center for Justice (BJC) has in our local community.  Attorney Schatz will recount how, in 2006, she instituted a pilot program to test whether free legal clinics would help address a gap some Berkshire residents were experiencing in accessing timely legal services in connection to civil matters.  The BJC now includes 24 attorneys, 2 accountants, and other professionals who offer pro bono and reduced fee services.  To date, the BJC has served over 850 clients and their families,  Cost $3.
