Join PJ Library for a special fall family adventure at Ioka Valley Farm!
Families will spend the afternoon meeting farm animals, helping to feed them, enjoying a hayride to the pumpkin patch, and choosing their own sugar pumpkins to take home. Along the way, we’ll explore Tza’ar Ba’alei Chayim, the Jewish value of treating animals with kindness, compassion, and care.
This family-friendly program will include opportunities for children to notice what animals need, practice using gentle hands, and think about simple ways we can care for the animals and natural world around us. Families will also enjoy seasonal autumn treats and a special take-home activity to continue the experience at home.
Registration required. Please click HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will take place outdoors at a working farm. Please dress comfortably for fall weather and wear shoes suitable for walking around the farm.
