The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community welcomes Representative William "Smitty" Pignatelli for an "Update on the Berkshires."
Smitty will be sharing some of the developments and initiatives of the Berkshires. Your citizenship matters and he will be taking questions. He is a democratic member of the MA House of Representatives, representing the 4th Berkshire district, consisting of Alford, Becket, Egremont, Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox, Monterey, Mount Washington, New Marlborough, Otis, Richmond, Sandisfield, Sheffield, Stockbridge, Tyringham, Washington, and West Stockbridge, all in Berkshire County and the towns of Blandford, Russell and Tolland in Hampden County. He is a member of the Joint Committees on Ways and Means and Higher Education and is vice-chair of the Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development.
This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
