Join Congregation Knesset Israel and Temple Anshe Amunim at KI as we welcome the holiday of Shavuot. Our evening begins with text study on the topic of conversion in the Bible (focusing on the characters of Abraham and Sarah, Jethro, Rahab and Ruth), followed by a discussion with a few of our congregations' Jews-by-choice. If time permits, we will engage in one more interactive piece of Torah study before breaking for a short ma'ariv service and then the requisite cheesecake! Registration is highly encouraged so we can have enough refreshments and handouts.
