Norton Juster, author of the children’s book classics The Phantom Tollbooth and The Dot and the Line, and Ilan Stavans, Lewis-Sebring Professor in the Humanities, Latin American, and Latino Culture at Amherst College and editor of The Oxford Book of Jewish Stories, discuss writing for young people, Norton’s Jewish upbringing, collaborating with illustrator Jules Feiffer, adapting his work into movies and musicals, and his life as an architect. A book signing will follow.
