The women of the Hebrew Bible are richly compelling people. Far from powerless, these heroines endure as inspiring role models.  Join Rabbi Josh for three sessions celebrating the strength and wisdom of these remarkable women. Each session will focus on different characters, including (but not limited to) Eve, Sarah, Hagar Rachel, Leah and Rebecca. Beginning with biblical text (in English), we’ll explore their influence in rabbinic legends, Western art and contemporary stories.  BYO Lunch. Cold beverages/desserts will be served.
