On November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., Temple Anshe Amunim will commemorate the seventy-sixth anniversary of Kristallnacht with readings of memoirs, poetry, and a one-act play by Jesse Waldinger depicting the post-war struggle to restore to their Jewish kin two orphan brothers who had been hidden from the Nazis by a devout Catholic woman. Directed by Barbara Waldinger, the program will include musical accompaniment by Paul Green, and a post-performance reception followed by a talk-back.
