Join Tanya Fredman for an inside look at Shared Living in Israel through the Lens of Youth Artists at the Mishkan Museum of Art in Ein Harod, Israel.

In this special partnership, we will explore how contemporary Israeli artists navigate boundaries using the concept of the parochet (curtain) as a jumping-off point; highlight a new exhibit by Nabaa Fawaz, a local young Arab female artist; and discover Art In Action--discussing how these works inspire our youth, specifically The Mishkan’s work with both Jewish and Arab schools and Israeli teens connecting with the Berkshires community.

The Mishkan Museum of Art is dedicated to making art accessible to all. Each year, it engages over 20,000 children from diverse backgrounds—Jewish and Arab, secular and religious, new immigrants and long-standing residents—through educational programs that foster creativity, broaden perspectives, and build cultural bridges. After October 7th, the museum provided a safe space for evacuated families and developed programs emphasizing resilience and healing through art.

Jewish Federation of the Berkshires is a partner with The Mishkan’s work in the Afula-Gilboa region.
