"Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sects", the secular Jewish
history study group, will meet on Sunday April 12th at 11 am. Since this is
during Passover, the subject will be "The Exodus Narrative". We will
discuss the events of Egyptian history that well may have inspired the
Passover story in Exodus of the bible. There is a lot of material from
other cultures that probably contributed to what we think of as a seminal
part of the Jewish heritage. Suggested reading material will be sent, in
advance, to those who have requested it. As usual the session will be
chaired by Al Steiner.
