Ramblin’ with the Rav hikes feature a morning of enjoying the Berkshires - exercise, a beautiful view, good company, a bit of Torah, and fantastic conversation on the trail. This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships and community while enjoying the outdoors. Rabbi Weiner, spiritual leader of Knesset Israel, leads the hikes, which typically take place on weekday and Sunday mornings in the warmer months of the year.
Come on your own or bring sure-footed children & grandchildren for an easy hike along a scenic section of the Westfield River that is crossed by several early 20th century keystone arch bridges. At the midpoint of the hike, pause for a rest on one of those bridges, or, if conditions permit, scramble down the side to a swimming hole under the ‘very narrow bridge’.
