The six chapters of Pirkei Avot are traditionally studied on the six Shabbat afternoons between Passover and Shavuot. At KI, we will study this tractate of Mishna on 6 Tuesday mornings, 10:45 AM- 12:00 noon, from April 7-May 12. Rabbis David Weiner and Pam Wax will alternate teaching each week.

This custom of studying Pirkei Avot during the Omer, the seven-week period between Passover and Shavuot, will help us prepare spiritually for Shavuot and kabbalat ha-torah/receiving Torah. Join us in person in the KI library! Please pre-register on the KI website.
