TAA youth are actively keeping the Jewish tradition alive. Through participation in youth activities and with their dedication to community service, Temple Youth are shaping and strengthening their future identities.
The Pittsfield Federation of Temple Youth (PFTY), led by advisor Rachel Alemany, has long been committed to encouraging Jewish students in grades 8-12 to participate in Judaism and social action activities. In addition to cooperative efforts within Berkshire County, PFTY members frequently reach beyond the Berkshires and participate in events held by the Northeast Region of the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY).
Funding for this event is provided by Temple Anshe Amunim and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. All proceeds from the event go to youth programming.
