The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents "Mass MoCA: A Rich History of Community and the Arts" with Laura Dickstein Thompson, Mass MoCA's director of education and curator of KidSpace.  She will share the history of the museum and the recent development of Building 6/The Robert W. Wilson Building.

We will learn about and view images of this historic site that once was a factory home to Arnold Printworks and Sprague Electric, as well as its current form as a visual and performing arts center.

Thompson will also lead a group discussion on the art currently on view by Sol Lewitt, Laurie Anderson, Louise Bourgeois, Lonnie Holley and Wes Sam-Brice.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
