Dr. Suzanne Vromen, Professor Emerita from Bard College, will share her fascinating story after lunch. Vromen published a book in 2006 using survivors of the holocaust in her research. Having herself escaped from Belgium in 1942, she has researched: Hidden Children of the Holocaust: Belgian Nuns and their Daring Rescue of Young Jews from the Nazis. Lunch begins around noon.
