The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community program welcomes Maggie Bittman, LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) as she leads conversations about the basic stressors of life that we all experience.

Throughout our lives we are confronted with 4 'givens": The search to find meaning and purpose; Facing mortality, our own and those we love; Experience of aloneness and the freedom to make our lives as we will; Wisdom and intelligence emerge, through aging and experiencing life's uncertainties.  Within this context, we will discuss, share and offer support as we explore these "existential truths" - these basic truths and givens, that exist with living life.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
