Kickoff Hafla (celebration)

Join the Berkshire Jewish community as we kick off the celebration of Israel's 70th birthday with a traditional Hafla, an interactive evening of ethnic music, dance and culinary tastings presented by a delegation of Israeli musicians and ethnic cooks from our Afula-Gilboa partnership

Free and open to the community but space is limited.

Get Involved!  Volunteers Needed!

• Cook alongside our Israeli guests in preparing traditional dishes influenced by their Iraqi, Tunisian and Kurdish heritage
• Create Israel in the Berkshires by helping to set up and serve during the event
• Local hosts needed to provide our guests overnight hospitality
• Bring your instrument or grab a doumbek (provided) and join Israeli musicians
