The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will present "Kosher Food and Kavanah and How They Meet" with Angus Johnson, founder of Just Good Kosher in Pittsfield.  During this program other aspects of Kashrut will be explored that are often left out of Jewish teachings and understandings; environmental issues such as water, soil, and air; labor issues and how employees are treated as well as animal welfare; is Kashrut different from meat to fruit to vegetables and does Kashrut set us apart from others.

Program is free.  $2 suggested donation for Kosher Lunch following the program.  Advanced lunch reservations are required and can be made up to 9am on the day of the program by calling 413-442-2200.
