The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents "A Rabbinic Portrait of Sarah" with Rabbi Jan Kaufman.  Kaufman will explore how the rabbis portrayed Sarah in the Midrash, early rabbinic literature.  Her insights into the character and importance of this pivotal Biblical figure will enhance participants' understanding and appreciation of the Torah portion Hayye Sarah  - the life of Sarah - which will be read the following Shabbat.  Cost $3.
