Exploring Unique Collaborations in Music

Join musicians Judith Dansker and Laurie Friedman, musical colleagues for over 45 years, and part of The Hevreh Ensemble, founded in 2004.

There are 4 members of the Hevreh Ensemble including Jeff Adler and Adam Morrison.  For today's presentation, Laurie and Judith will highlight parts of the group's musical journey.  There will be musical examples demonstrating the shofar as a musical instrument and the Native American flute, discussing the usage in groundbreaking and innovative ways while lending a quality of spirituality to their music.
