Join us for a community commemoration of Yom HaShoah-Holocaust Remembrance Day Concert and Memorial Candle LIghting.  Performing artist and lecturer Laura Wetzler will share the music and history of Sephardic and Ashkenazi communitieis celebrating the vitality of prewar Jewish life.  Laura's father Rudi was a Nazi era survivor from Frankfurt, Germany.

Following the concert will be a candle lighting, prayers and a moment of silence in memory of those murdered in the Holocaust.

Laura has devoted years of study and performance to diverse, multicultural World music, as well as to the history of American popular entertainment and European Art Music.  She sings in seven languages and has a specialty in Jewish music from Africa, Asia, Europe, & The Americas.
