Join our Berkshire Rabbis, local musicians and the Cantilena Chamber Choir for our annual Community-Wide Havdalah and an inspirational evening of music, spirit and schmoozing.
Under the direction of Choir Director Andrea Goodman, music will include sung portions of the Havdalah Service by Sol Zim, music by the Jewish Composer Ken Lampl (a commission by Cantilena and often performed by Boston Zamir Chorale), Paul ben Ham, Yehezkial Braun, Josh Jacobson, Tzvi Avni and more.
The Cantilena Chamber Choir is comprised of 24 dedicated singers of the highest caliber who possess vocal training, excellent sight-reading skills and considerable choral experience. Its accolades include a multi-year Cultural Portfolio grant award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council for its annual Martin Luther King program and two Choral Arts New England Alfred Nash Patterson awards for innovative programming.
All ages welcome! Free Havdalah candle and spice sets (while supplies last).
