Join Knesset Israel as we welcome Rabbi Valerie Stessin, the first woman ordained in the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary. During the last decade she founded and is the Director of Kashouvot, the largest Center for Spiritual Care in Israel. Rabbi Stessin has been developing the burgeoning field of Spiritual Care in Israel and is currently a leading teacher to the first generation of Spiritual Caregivers. Rabbi Stessin is a creative and innovative leader. She made Aliyah when she was 17 from France. She will be speaking both on Friday night after Shabbat services and a community Shabbat dinner, and on Saturday.
