Join Rabbi Pam Wax for 6 Tuesdays, July 14-August 18 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM to look at aggadic stories. Aggadah—the non-legal, narrative, and homiletic portions of the Talmud—is filled with a diverse array of stories. Some are historical tales, some are parables, some are mystical flights of fancy, and some are connected to the legal discussions they surround. In each session, we will look at a few stories (in translation, with Hebrew handy for those with Hebrew skills) and unpack what they might have to teach us today.
