Following brunch, author Anita Robboy will speak about A Force for Good, the biography she wrote about her mother, Gisela Warburg Wyzanski. History Professor Jonathan Sarna of Brandeis University wrote that this book “shows how a young woman of privileged birth, mentored by Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann and Hadassah founder Henrietta Szold, risked her life to save Jewish refugee children, crisscrossed the United States raising funds to sustain them, and lived a life of service to others.”
Anita Wyzanski Robboy is both a noted author and a partner in the Boston law firm of Prince Lobel & Tye, LLC. She is currently a Visiting Scholar/Research Associate at Brandeis University. She authored A Force for Good to showcase her mother’s coming of age story and share her accomplishments, in hope that readers will be inspired by Gisela’s remarkable life, her selfless choices, and her determination to save the lives of countless others.
Books will be available for sale following the program.
