The Jewish Food Society works to preserve, celebrate, and revitalize Jewish culinary heritage as they inspire and deepen connections to Jewish life.
We'll hear from Founder Naama Shefi, Editorial Director Devra Ferst  and Culinary Director Arielle Nir, as they share their mission through recipes that carry with them
"the marrow of who we are as individuals and as a people. Recipes reveal where we’ve been, how we celebrate, mourn, endure, and love."
Explore ways to document your family’s treasured recipes and the oral history behind them in order to create a polished keepsake for generations to come. "They say it’s not about the recipe that’s served the most often, but rather the one that tells the best story." This is an intergenerational program, so no matter where you and your family live right now please gather virtually with grandparents, parents and children during Chanukah to celebrate and to preserve some food traditions and recipes around the celebration of light.
