Discovering Humor Hidden in the Golden Years

At 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents, "Discovering Humor Hidden in the Golden Years," with Sylvia Silverberg.  Open to the public and at a cost of $3, the program will be held at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road, Pittsfield.

During her program, Silverberg, who has appeared before numerous Yiddish Clubs as well as ORT, B'nai B'rith, and Hadassah chapters, will look on the lighter side of aging and discuss the positive and humorous aspects of getting older.  Among common scenarios, she will explain the humor in "visiting your doctor," "misplacing and searching for your keys," "hiring cleaning help for your home," and "visiting with your children and grandchildren."

For more information, call Nancy Maurice Rogers, Program Director, at 413-442-4360, ext. 15.
