The Pittsfield Rye Bakery
Will happily take your orders for challah, several types of rye breads, French bread, Kaiser rolls and grinder rolls to name a few of their offerings if you call 443-9141 two days in advance.  Their products are also sold at Stop & Shop on Merrill Road and at the Pittsfield Big Y on West Street.  Look for the Pittsfield Rye Bakery sticker on bakery products in the deli sections of these two supermarkets; but shop early, they sell quickly. All products sold by Pittsfield Rye are also under Kosher supervision. 

Albany Price Chopper

Kosher meat from the Kosher Store within the Albany Price Chopper (mashgiach on the premises) is delivered twice a month to Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road, Pittsfield.  The phone number is 800-727-5674 and orders must be called in the Tuesday before the delivery date (please call Price Chopper to get the delivery dates). Deliveries are usually made on Thursdays and the meat is placed in the refrigerator in the KI kitchen.  All orders should be picked up by 6 PM on the day they are delivered.
